
DAY 1:
Cling Wrap: Remove after a few hours
-Use warm water and fragrance-free soap to
cleanse the area.
-Rinse well before lightly patting the skin dry.
-Wait a few minutes before applying unscented
lotion, balm or oil
‘Second skin’: Designed to last several days,
you will likely notice fluid build up under the
bandage (blood, plasma and ink) this is normal.
DAY 2-4:
If you’ve already removed your dressing,
continue to wash your tattoo once or
twice a day and lightly apply lotion.
Your tattoo will have a duller, cloudier
appearance. This happens as your skin heals.
Scabs may start to form.
DAY 4-6:
“Second skin” is typically removed during this
time. It’s recommend running the area
under warm water while you peel the adhesive.
Repeat above steps
DAY 6-14:
Scabs will begin to form, harden and flake off,
this will be itchy but it’s important to avoid
scratching the area.
Continue to moisturise sparingly until dullness
subsides
AVOID: Soaking in bodies of water, Sweat, Sun
exposure
